Who I am
As a Latina bilingual psychologist, I am deeply passionate about creating spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. My practice is grounded in multiculturalism, social justice, trauma-informed care, and a holistic approach to mental health. I believe in the transformative power of collective healing and the importance of honoring the rich spectrum of our intersectional identities.
I am dedicated to helping my clients navigate the complexities of their lives while celebrating their resilience and individuality. Together, we work to destigmatize mental health care and embrace wellness as a journey toward liberation, connection, and fulfillment.
My Approach: Trauma-Informed
Trauma-informed care is at the heart of my therapeutic approach. It focuses on the recovery and well-being of individuals who have experienced or been exposed to stressful or harmful events. This framework prioritizes emotional and physical safety, integrates the mind-body connection, and considers the profound effects of environmental and social determinants.
By addressing systemic factors that contribute to prolonged stress or trauma responses, I support clients in expanding their window of tolerance for challenging situations. This work helps reduce automatic, activating responses that can hinder self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships. Together, we aim to cultivate authentic lives rooted in resilience, healing, and empowerment.
